WWII M31 German Canteen
Item: GM724

WWII German M31 canteen.  It has all the leather straps which are in good plyable condition, but missing bottom of strap tip which fits over the stud.  The spring clip works fine.  Canteen body is red enamel and has no maker information.  Has a black bakelite cap with orange rubber gasket intact.  Cup is marked ESB43.  It is enameled red on the inside.  Wool body has one small moth nip on back and top button does not fasten due to shrinkage.  A very clean example.
